To Be Good At Blogging You Need To Study Good Bloggers

Ann Althouse's Blog & Jane Galt Blog.
These are some blogs I follow. They are completely unrelated to marketing issues, but they sure DO get a ton of traffic.
Ann Althouse is a posting robot. She loves posting, mostly about politics, and she does get into some other creative topics. The people who read her blog I would consider to be well educated and very opinionated. This is a great audience.
It goes to show that if you put high quality information on a blog, people from different genres and interests will come by and visit.
JaneGalt.net (real name Megan McCardle) is another blog that amazes me. She posts a 5 line post on her blog and gets 86 comments. That's amazing!
The beauty of these blogs is that they are NOT commercial in the discussion at all. They do have ads on the sides, which is acceptable.
If you're interested in study some high traffic sites, these are good ones to study.
