I FEEL BAD FOR NOT WRITING EVERY DAY
I feel like I've been in this huge university course for the last several weeks. I've opened up my brains full throttle to take in as much information as I possibly can. Fortunately it's getting a little easier as I go along here.

It's kind of true what they say... it's harder to teach old dogs new tricks. While I'm not a stranger to huge learning curves, they are getting a little more difficult as I put on a few more years.

STUDY THE MUD:
The lesson I'm learning is this: To be successful, you've got to get in the trenches and analyze the mud. You have to get close to the mud and get to know the mud. See the patterns in the mud. Mud analyses.

There is really nothing exciting about mud analysis and getting to know the trenches except that it makes you an expert.

That's what I've been doing for the last several months... Digital mud analysis.

Stop and watch the traffic.
Stopping to watch what's going on around me is helping to. Today as I walked over to the coffee shop to grab a coffee there was a huge line of cars in rush hour traffic. I was trying to cross the street. I thought to my self... if I wait here long enough, there will be a break in traffic and I'll be able to successfully cross. Sure enough, after carefully watching the traffic, there was a break, and I was able to carefully walk across the street.

It's a simple and mundane point. Internet marketing is like that. As I carefully watch the traffic on the internet and see what's going on around me, I'm finding more and more opportunities.

Mud analysis and studing the traffic.
