Credit Card Blog & Article AreaBlack Hat Website Marketing Blackhat Seo Website Management Web Page ManagementBlog Post Date: May 14 2006
On my trek to learn programming, I am starting to learn some of the cool PHP functions that are powerful string manipulators. PREG_MATCH being one of them. I've also learned some other tools.
I've also figured out how to develop my websites in a compact format that is really easy to manage and edit. My main website engine tool is about 10 lines of code that includes a bunch of files. This would be called object oriented programming, probably if I knew what that meant :) My template file is really small where as it used to be huge and located on 5 different include files. Now I'm using a small 20 line template that includes all of the rest of the parts. I find this really easy to manage and work with. I used to pull my hair out trying to manage every last page, on every last site, as they weren't as efficiently built. The other thing I'm doing is putting all of my pages, whether high quality hand written content, or RSS feeds content etc into tables. I used to have several hard files in my directory that I had to physically open and manage. They all had their own separate header, footer, body parts. OUCH!! Very painful. I have built editors that pull my information out of mysql tables and then edit them nice and easy. One form edits a whole bunch of pages. This makes things way better to manage and way less stressful. All of a sudden I am beginning to understand black hat a little better. Black hat marketers have really good tools that help them administer their sites and data. It gives them more time to figure out "cool" ways to market their websites etc. I thought to myself.. Now that I have these great tools in place, I probably could manage even more sites (more money) better. And I could still have time to learn new tricks on how to get my information seen more. LIke RSS feeds. It just occured to me that I should be putting affiliate links on my outgoing RSS feeds. After I thought about that for a few seconds, I thought that maybe I should be putting affiliate links on incoming RSS feeds! And then, of course, if I'm doing all that, I should have lots of websites with these features!! That's the beginning of blackhat, in my opinion. It's all about high volume content management. The goal is to be able to manage high volumes of content and websites so as to get your advertisers out and seen. It's getting harder and harder to be seen on the net , especially with all of the noise. I'm starting to understand what the black hatters are doing and how they come to their decisions about what to do and why to do it. It's pretty interesting.
