Panasonic is aiming at quick-Growth A4 MFP Marketplace
Plans announced by Panasonic System Networks Company of America today to greatly increase its footprint in the growing market for A4 multi-function machines. The A4 market has undergone fast growing and is emerging as the important standard in the fax machine marketplace. As a consequence the A3 market has been declining and will no longer be one of Panasonic's focuses heretofore. Based on inside Panasonic research the A4 market is thought to be dominant by 2012 and make up the majority of imaging devices purchased.
Product Specialist for MFP/Fax Machine Joseph Odore mentioned, the product mix shift is based on Panasonic's long-time commitment to forwardly fulfilling channel friends and end user needs by responding to changes in market dynamics in a fast and precise way.
Leased fax machine numbers - "All the relevant indices printed page volume, and overall sales of new fax equipment -- make it clear that A3 MFPs are already, or very shortly will be a history document format and that A4 MFPs are swiftly becoming the types of equipment that will best serve our clients needs for the beginning of this 2010 and the foreseeable future," Odore said.
