How to send international faxes for free on-line securely

You can always meet some problems along the way when you send messages, may it be through fax, email, phone. Even so, you can follow a couple of tips to secure an international fax message using a fax machine. You can strengthen the security of your international faxing with some steps. First, we recommend using fax-to-email software to ensure the protection of your faxes.

      1. Use encrypting hardware which will hasten the transmission and protect your message in case it is intercepted by another party. The downside is that this could get expensive as the recipient should have the same encryption hardware in his end.

      2. Set up fax carriage protocols. You could set up a cover sheet for every fax. Take note of the number sheets faxed, names of the sender and recipient. Request for a confirmation once the fax is sent.

      3. Place your fax machine in a secure place.  If the fax machines company use, make sure it’s open for employees. If the machine’s for your personal use, keep it in your own space so that no one can retrieve your faxes besides you.

Faxing is more secure than email or other forms of communication, the hardcopy message cannot be edited and you can’t get any harmful data like viruses as with your computer when emailing or using internet fax.
All in all, faxing security requires some customary practices and measures, but overall it is a very safe method of communication.
