Get more clicks. Get more website traffic. This seems to be the job of a web site marketer. Click click click. Living for the click. If you've got your own website, or you do affiliate marketing for advertisers, it's your main intent to get people to click on the 'money' links. Getting people to visit the desired web page and hopefully purchase the products or services you're promoting.
Getting more clicks is a huge task if you're just starting off in the website marketing business. As one person said, it's good to set a goal of how much you want to earn from your website. That's the beauty of the internet. It's all pretty measurable when it comes to website visits, page clicks and sales ratios. When you're first starting out it's hard to understand what to do because you don't know what's bringing in website traffic and what isn't. Only after a few months can you really get a picture of what is successful and what isn't.
Ultimately, people will visit to your site and revisit if they feel they're getting some value. Something of interest. That's the thing to concentrate on. The whole idea is to put things on your site that people will like to see. If you're not sure what that is, or the format that will be the most interesting to the visitor, then it's a good idea to try some different methods out. Keep trying.
Sites attract visitors of all sorts. Some people like to look at pictures, some people like to read articles. Some people like to get in and out of a site as quickly as possible, and some people like to stick around and get to know other people on the site.

The problem with getting more organic search engine clicks is that it is a two sided project. On the one side, you've got to please the search engines to give you high enough placement in their search engine results. On the other side, you've got to give your visitors valuable information that will make them want to buy your products and services. This is a pretty tricky task. This is important if you don't want to pay for clicks to your site. Organic search engine clicks are those that the search engines like google.com or yahoo.com or msn.com show in the search results for free.
Getting organic search engine clicks and traffic means that you have to learn to write the type of text which will get results with both search engines and readers. Once again, this is a research and development type thing. I would recommend to write as many articles on as many subjects as you can to generate search engine traffic.
Writing articles is not an easy task. Like every thing, it takes time and practice. Plan out your articles. The best way to plan are to know what your theme keywords are for your site. Once you know which are the main keywords you're receiving traffic on, start writing articles around those keyword subjects. Researching the topic on the internet, or getting books from the library are a few ways to get information on your topics.

- Plan your keyword subjects
- Outline which articles you're scheduled to write
- Start writing your articles
- Proof read your articles for spelling errors, grammatical errors etc. Double checking your work is always smart.
- Have somebody else read your article. Even if their spelling or use of english is not strong, they will still be able to help out. (My wife is forever correcting my writing - she is good at spelling and grammar.)
- Publish your page. The search engines can't see it if it's not published.
- Go back and re-read and edit your pages from time to time. Many times I go back and read something I wrote several months ago and shake my head. As my experience level increases, I am able to enhance what I previously wrote.
As with all things in life, practice makes perfect. Diligence and consistency are the keys to getting more clicks with organic search traffic. The more pages you publish, the more food you give to the search engines who in turn show your material to your readers. Happy writing!
