Monty Loree Biography:

Let's start at the beginning:
Since the age of 12, Monty Loree has been entrepreneurial and has always had a passion for talking about and discussing all aspects of business.

He created a "Monopoly like" board game at the age of 14 and wrote into Parker Brothers, the manufacturers of the Monopoly board game at the time, to ask them if they were interested in purchasing the rights to the game. Parker Brothers politely refused. By the age of 14, he created several inventions that he tried to get patented. He contacted manufacturers as far away as Hong Kong. Although nothing ever came of these inventions, it demonstrated Monty's initiative and creativeness at an early age.

Prior to 1992, Monty Loree was a financial analyst for 6 years and administered millions of dollars of assets, corporate debt, foreign receivables for publicly traded companies in Toronto, Canada. Monty has completed 2nd year of the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) program in Canada.

Monty moved to the prairies in Canada in 1992 with his wife and new child. He immediately obtained a securities license to sell RESPs, Registered Education Savings Plans, for the next two years.

In November 1994, Monty Loree started HomeGrown Advertising Inc. and has been in the publishing and advertising business with the focus being primarily on the financial and internet industry ever since. In the early days, Monty and his wife started a little "coffee tabloid" entitled "Coffee Express". This was a little coffee tabloid that included jokes, tips, trivia, games, articles and, of course, advertising. 10,000 copies of Coffee Express was distributed each week to over 250 local restaurants, mall food courts and waiting areas. Coffee Express was published for 3 years until 1998.

Monty Loree has written articles and created advertising about internet advertising, life insurance, credit repair, debt settlement, and other financial topics on the internet since 1999.

Monty got his start in computer programming in 1987 when he started automating his accounting responsibilities in Lotus 123 which was a DOS based program. Since then, he has taken the initiave to learn many types of software, including, DOS, QuickBasic, DBaseIV, Lotus123, MSExcel (started MSExcel when it was stand alone and didn't work in Windows!! ), MSWord, CorelDraw, VisualBasic, FrontPage, HTML, PHP, Mysql, Adobe Illustrator, and many more. LEARNING WEBSITE MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT
Monty took on the challenge of learning about website development and marketing in 1999 when his client asked him to develop a website (www.quality-ins.com) to generate life insurance referrals. This challenge was pretty large because it included learning not only website development and marketing; but, as well, the life insurance industry. The life insurance referral service is an ongoing service that Monty provides.

EXPRESS MARKETING
Express Marketing was started in 2000 with the goal to host a free banner exchange and reciprocal links exchange. In late 2005 he decided to increase the scope of www.express-marketing.com to include review and sales of website marketing software and ebooks.
